One of our most requested amps by many, many customers, Andy Timmons fans in particular.
This is a really hot piece of equipment. Both channels are really well tuned fro what they have to do – Nr. 1 taking on the duties for cleans, edge of breakup and some crunch as well as WONDERFUL pedal platform capabilities. Channel 2 continues where Nr. 1 left off.
Gainier and tighter crunch tones and wonderful overdrive and lead tones with the Drive circuit engaged.
The EQ is very responsive at all times and you can go from a bright and cutting tone to something more balanced and to some beautiful Andy Timmons style darker and warmer tones that are a huge part of his tone.
The amp was captured with both the EL34 (for authentic Timmons tones) and with the stock 6L6 tubes.
A wonderful amp that can do it all with a bit of modern american/Fender-style flavor, but with a more polished and robust voice that will rival any Dumble any time of the day on the lead channel and with its exceptional pedal platform capabilities.
The set features 36 full captures of the amp through a 2X12 Matchless cab with Celestion VIntage V30 speakers. The mics used were 2x Royer R121, a Beyerdynamic M160 and a Neumann U87. Please refer to the full list of included captures in the product photo section.

Spectacular All-Arounder
Most of the time, I gravitate toward the Crunch captures, but with the LS I love the LSI Edge BAL! I do use a 112 Black Shadow IR purchased elsewhere. The end result is spectacular. This is my goto for anything I want to do that gives me an 80s vibe (Tears for Fears, Sting, etc.), running in stereo, etc. Love this!
Excellent captures
Another wonderful set of captures from AA. I keep getting that desert island sound from the most recent V2 captures. These captures could be all I need on my island paradise. Somehow Karlis has made these captures sound huge but totally manageable, My fave Mesa pack from AA.
